IDEAL aims to add healthy years to current lifespan

IDEAL represents an ambitious program on development, epigenetics and longevity determination. The IDEAL team consists of 16 institutes from 8 countries. In this study, which is funded by the EU, current expertise in the fields of developmental biology, gerontology, geriatrics, genetics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, epigenetics, translational science and mathematics will be integrated. IDEAL has the potential to reshape health-care for a healthier and longer life of the EU population.
